(Rose explicitly says "February the 1st. My mum's birthday," without anyone telling her that. She is clearly referring to her ACTUAL mother, while her Pete's World counterpart shares the same birthdate.) |

On 1 February 1967, Jacqueline "Jackie" Prentice and her Pete's World counterpart were born. Cuba Gooding, Jr. was born exactly a year later. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)
On Jackie's birthday in 2007, the Doctor's TARDIS fell into Pete's World, where it nearly died. With twenty-four hours before the TARDIS could return to its home universe, Rose Tyler discovered a living version of her dad, Pete Tyler, alive and a successful businessman. To meet her "father," Rose sneaked, with the Tenth Doctor, into Jackie Tyler's, her mother, birthday party. The President of Great Britain forbade the use of John Lumic's new cybernetic lifeform, but Lumic ignored him. Mickey Smith, mistaken for his parallel self, Ricky Smith, was taken by the Preachers, who fought Lumic. The cybernetic life, dubbed Cybermen, attacked Jackie's party, killing most of those inside, including the President. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)
On 1 February 1851, Mary Shelley, a future companion of the Eighth Doctor, died. The Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith met a reprise of Mary Shelley in Europa. (PROSE: Managra)
Behind the scenes
Cuba Gooding, Jr. was actually born on 2 January in the real world. It's unclear if the discrepancy is because Rise of the Cybermen is set in a parallel world or because Jackie (or the production crew) forgot that the style 02/01/1968 would be 2 January in the UK but 1 February in the States.
