Automated scripts — bots — are absolutely essential to the maintenance of a late wiki like ours. When a manual of style rule is essentially arbitrary, the deciding factor can often be what makes things easier for bot maintenance.

Because our wiki has tens of thousands of pages, maintenance cannot be achieved manually. We heavily rely on bots — or robotic scripts — to help us maintain order. One of the most obvious examples is T:SPELL BOT
