Kahler was the home planet of the Kahler.

In the 19th century, a war lasted for nine years, affecting half of the planet. The Kahler turned some of their race into cyborg war machines and ended the war within a week. The cyborgs were decommissioned after the war, but one, Kahler-Tek, persisted, and started hunting down his creators in a vengeful manner. (TV: A Town Called Mercy)
