A One Day International was a type of cricket match. The Sixth Doctor once tried to get Flip Jackson to watch the fifth One Day International between Australia and South Africa 2006 on the Time-Space Visualiser, but she claimed to be more a fan of bowls than cricket. (AUDIO: The Fourth Wall)

Behind the scenes

A One Day international is ill-defined within DWU narratives. In the real world, however, an ODI is a cricket match with a predetermined, limited number of overs, such that the match can be concluded in a single day.

This differs from test cricket, whose matches can be played across multiple days.
