The Lightning?

Should we perhaps rename this The Lightning, to differentiate from plain ol' regular lightning?

I thought of that, but figured if I did, someone would slap a rename tag on it to get rid of the "the". Shambala108 04:22, September 11, 2013 (UTC)
You can never really win. We do include definite articles in the title in instances like the Doctor, the Monk, the Question, the Master — that is to say, when ordinary nouns are given different meanings when "the"'s included. We have Doctor and the Doctor; we might as well at least leave the option open for someone in the future to write an article about the weather phenomenon.
