Europa was a recreation of Europe created by colonists from the Overcities in the late 31st century after the fall of the Earth Empire. Europa was modelled after Europe between the 14th and 19th centuries. It included three Switzias, four Rhines, six Danubes, and dozens of Black Forests. Europa was inhabited not only by humans but also by Reprises of historical figures and creatures from European folklore such as ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and ghouls.
The Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith visited Europa in 3278. (PROSE: Managra)
Ellua, the mother of Peladon of Peladon, was Princess of Europa. (PROSE: Legacy)
During the Battle of the Game Station in 200100, Europa was bombed by the Dalek Fleet so ruthlessly that it became unrecognisable in seconds. (TV: The Parting of the Ways)
