Debbi Slater has had a varied career in production management for the BBC Wales Doctor Who universe. She has been a production manager on Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Doctor Who.
She's one of the few crew members to start on Torchwood, go to SJA and then arrive at Doctor Who last. She worked on the first series of both of the spinoffs before coming into Doctor Who because of the necessity of double banking the production of Blink. She returned for a run of several episodes in series 4 and the 2009 Specials. She left Doctor Who, however, at the close of the Russell T Davies era.
Her latest foray into the DWU, as of 2011, has been her work on The New World as the UK line producer.
