The First Wave was a significant period in human history, when humanity began to spread to planets outside the solar system and establish what would become the Earth Empire. The First Wave began some time before the colonisation of Sunday in 2107 and after Susie Fontana Brooke piloted the first lightspeed ship to Proxima Centauri.
