On 6 January, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.

1968 - Episode three of The Enemy of the World was first broadcast on BBC1.
1968 - Part two of TV Comic story The Witches was first published.
1973 - Episode two of The Three Doctors was first broadcast on BBC1.
1973 - Part six of TV Action comic story Zeron Invasion was first published.
1975 - Stage play Doctor Who and the Daleks in Seven Keys to Doomsday gave its final performance at the Adelphi Theatre.
1979 - Part three of The Power of Kroll was first broadcast on BBC1.
1979 - Part four of TV Comic story The Metal-Eaters was reprinted as a Fourth Doctor story.
1984 - Part two of Warriors of the Deep was first broadcast on BBC1.
1993 - DWCC 2 was first published by Marvel Comics.
1997 - The Leisure Hive was released on VHS.
2008 - Two exhibitions named "Doctor Who Up Close" were closed, namely the one in Manchester and the one in Leicester.
2009 - Four to Doomsday was released on Region 1 DVD.
2011 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story Random History was first published.
