We don't know the name of this thing.

But we do know where it came from. So we're using that to title the page logically. If you know a better, more precise name, tell us.

The Eden man-trap was a large plant with a central mouth/flower. This mouth/flower was made of several layers of leaves which unfolded to engulf prey. The Eden man-trap also had many vines which could wrap around food and drag it towards the mouth/flower. It would release the food from the vines if the plant was too badly damaged.
