:Just to note, within TPOT, which I guess would be the story where heart failures are most prominent as a plot device, one of the UNIT researcher says, "...a global surge in heart failures. Cardiac arrests." - Good question. I'd say cardiac arrest, if only because it's the most prominent term for it in the DWU. I see 12 novels that use that terminology, plus The Power of Three and Mindwarp.
- Just to note, within TPOT, which I guess would be the story where heart failures are most prominent as a plot device, one of the UNIT researcher says, "...a global surge in heart failures. Cardiac arrests." So both terms are absolutely correct, and I'd leave a redirect at heart failure if you chose to start an article at cardiac arrest. :)
