Anu-Ak was an old friend of the First Doctor.
The Doctor ran into Anu-Ak on Bukol. Anu-Ak collected old television broadcasts, and the Doctor used this fact to help prove his identity to the Bukolian official Yerma. Anu-Ak had a transmission of the Doctor helping to save Earth in the 20th century when another planet appeared in the system. (PROSE: The Golden Door)
