The Doctor said 1 million pounds was worth 50 million credits, and Foon said she spent 5000 credits phoning the company to win the tickets, which was around the same as what it cost to pay for the trip (she said she might as well have just paid for the tickets). If both these statements are true, then the cost of the trip was the equivalent of 100 pounds. Doesn't that seem to be a ridiculously small amount? Technically, they *could* leave previous Doctors out of this episode and still be logically consistent. It could be that, with all his visits to the past since then, he altered the course of events that led him to the Titanic before. --68.44.13.236 18:44, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

The episode was crap. I didn't get it until reading it here. Humans on a futuristic spaceship in the 21st century? And that Max Capricorn was a joke if you ask me. We have had heads in tanks before. Who had thought the evil guy behind it all was a shopping trolley with a head. The evil dudeArnie 10:17, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure what was so hard for you to "get," the whole plot was pretty straight forward. And there weren't any "Humans on a futuristic spaceship in the 21st century." There were, however, humanoid aliens on a spaceship in the 21st century, which isn't out of the ordinary for the series (Especially when you consider its about a humanoid alien in a spaceship...) Christopher Eccleston[[edit source]]

Do you know, when I first saw the Titanic ring at the end of the previous series I initially thought is was the real Titanic and then I hoped that Christopher Eccleston would appear since the doctor was there in his 9th incarnation. But alas, he did not appear. --Torchwood 2 19:05, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Take me to your leader[[edit source]]

The Doctor uses 'Security Protocol One' on the Heavenly Hosts and then says "Take me to your leader." Then he says that he always wanted to say that, but he already did in 'Aliens of London'(series one, as Christopher Ecclestion, when the police brings him to 10 Downing Street). --CGW 13:08, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

The fourth doctor said this before too in The horns of Nimon, ep 2 17"20'And the fifth Doctor said that too in "Four to Doomsday" episode 2.193.48.172.106 20:05, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
He is probably referring to his current incarnation I.E. the 10th. User:Sylictic 20:40, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

Crew issues[[edit source]]

I'm archiving the previous list here, because it's so at variance with what I observed watching the broadcast edition of the episode. I don't know if the DVD edition has more credits on it or what, but the Wales crew template does specifically note that it catalogues crew members based upon the episode as broadcast. There's also the possibility these credits were derived simply from IMDB, in which case red flags are a' flyin'. Nevertheless, I archive them here just in case anyone wants them. Please do not add them back into the template, because, again, we're going only for the episode as broadcast. CzechOut | 03:04, April 22, 2010 (UTC)

Mr Copper and the Captain.[[edit source]]

Was anyone expecting Judi Dench or Patricia Routledge to show up? When Mr Copper was talking about buying a house the only thing that went through my mind was Hyacinth wanting Richard to work on the garden more often. And when Mr Copper mentioned windows this line immediately came to my mind, "No, not there dear. I like to face the window." L4D2 Ellis 18:03, July 2, 2014 (UTC)
