I corrected a statement that said ''Merlin'' was the first UK-produced series to air on mainstream US network TV. This is incorrect, as numerous UK-produced series aired on networks in the 1960s, including ''Danger Man'', ''The Avengers'', ''Fireball XL-5'' and ''The Saint''. ''Danger Man'' in particular had no US production involvement at all when it aired on CBS in 1961 (years before it became ''Secret Agent''). Also, the ABC network aired episodes of ''Monty Python's Flying Circus'' (a show with absolutely zero non-UK involvement) during the 1970s. Error correction

I corrected a statement that said Merlin was the first UK-produced series to air on mainstream US network TV. This is incorrect, as numerous UK-produced series aired on networks in the 1960s, including Danger Man, The Avengers, Fireball XL-5 and The Saint. Danger Man in particular had no US production involvement at all when it aired on CBS in 1961 (years before it became Secret Agent). Also, the ABC network aired episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus (a show with absolutely zero non-UK involvement) during the 1970s. 68.146.80.110 17:14, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
