I made changes to the personal life section for this article. Georgia did not request David Tennant to change his name shortly before their wedding. He has confirmed he has been Tennant for a while now and I provided a source for that which came from David himself during a question and answer section with The Guardian newspaper. The idea that Georgia asked David to change his name to Tennant is just fan supposition with no evidence to support this, yet there is evidence that came from David Tennant himself that said he changed his name due to Screen Actor Guild rules in the US. So why was this changed back to stating Georgia asked him to? Also, David announced in 2012 that he had adopted her son, but if you listen to the quote properly he said he adopted him 'last year' meaning the actual adoption took place in 2011, not 2012. The 2012 date in the article is wrong. These two facts are completely wrong yet they were changed back after I had provided the correct information. Why has this happened?Hlc1988

: Hi HLC (btw I post on GB too - I enjoy your posts there and was a big fan of your fanfic!). The Guardian article has been proven to be incorrect, as according to Screen Actors Guild no such rule exists. Check their website, it explicitly states actors can act under non-legal stage names, infact they advice actors to take on non-legal stage names. Iit is extremely commonplace for actors in America to act under stage names. According to records filed on behalf of Tennant's company 'Sandyboy Ltd' with Company House, his legal name change took place in September 2011. He had already acted in multiple US productions (the Rex pilot, Fright Night, LA Without a Map) before so he obviously was not prevented from acting under his stage name in America. He did not act in the US again until 3 years after he changed his name. It has been  reported elsewhere that Moffett is the one who requested the change. Considering the timing, and that she changed her own name and her son's name to Tennant too, it's reasonable to assume the wedding and desire for the whole family to go by the same name was a factor. I have re-worded the article to include the date. The year of adoption was an error on my part and I have changed it back to 2011. Dating Tennant?edit source

This article currently says flatly that it is "false" that Moffett dated Tennant. Given the number of news reports which say otherwise — just click through to her IMDb page, for a start —  I think we're gonna have to have some kind of citation in order to definitively say it was "false". CzechOut | 23:29, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Right now I'm going to take it out, as well as the link to the the online profile purporting to be Moffett. For the former, I agree with Czech that we need something a little more definitive; for the latter, what with all the controversy surrounding people claiming to be actors like Moffett and David Tennant (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/7910910.stm if you're not sure what I'm talking about) I'm erring on the side of caution. There were media reports showing Tennant and Moffett on dates. I downloaded a few paparazzi photos, but they're buried somewhere. 23skidoo 01:07, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Dubious information removededit source

First off, I wish people contributing to this wiki would learn how to capitalize. If I see "doctor who" one more time in articlespace I'm going to blow a gasket. Now that I have that out of the way, someone added a line saying that Cassie Rice, Georgia's character in Dreamland, is also a new nurse on Casualty. Someone's living in Dreamland, alright... 23skidoo 01:07, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Why were my changes removed?edit source

Why has this happened? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hlc1988 (talk • contribs) .

Hi HLC (btw I post on GB too - I enjoy your posts there and was a big fan of your fanfic!). Snowdropped 16:42, July 10, 2014 (UTC)
