Pangol was the youngest Argolin on the sterile leisure planet Argolis. Ostensibly the son of Mena, he was in fact a clone created in the Argolins' Tachyon Recreation Generator. He wanted to lead Argolis into war and conquest, contrary to the ethics of his pacifist people, and so tried to create a new army by duplicating himself in the TRG. However, he only ended up creating short-lived duplicates of the Fourth Doctor, who was hiding in the generator at the time. The TRG was then used to rejuvenate Pangol back to a baby.
