The Observer was a British Sunday newspaper. Penny Carter, science correspondent for the paper, had suspicions about the Adipose weight-loss programme and went to the Adipose headquarters to search through the company records. However, she was discovered and held prisoner by Miss Foster. (TV: Partners in Crime)
