Marianne Globus was Prisoner 112 on the Prison. Her attempt to escape the Prison went terribly wrong and what was left of her was apprehended and contained the mostly empty Level 6 where she was watched by Custodians and treated for pain management.
The Governor viewed her as a "dear friend" and the thought of what had happened to her made him feel ill. Alternately, the events of Marianne's failed escape had been the only thing to ever provoke a smile from Guardian Bentley. (PROSE: The Blood Cell)
