Sea pumpkins were a type of food consumed by residents of Poseidon 8 in the 23rd century.
Oswald Fox had a prized crop of sea pumpkins that he invited Amy Pond and the Eleventh Doctor to eat for Christmas dinner, but once they heard what was being served, they left in the TARDIS. (GAME: Shadows of the Vashta Nerada)
