Lux was a surname shared by the human family that built and maintained the Library planet.

Felman Lux was the original architect of the Library and founder of the Felman Lux Corporation. His youngest daughter was named Charlotte Abigail Lux. Felman's grandson was Strackman Lux. (TV: Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead)
