The Doctor's rules were a series of guidelines created by the Doctor for his companions. As Jackson Lake, when he believed himself the Doctor, told his companion, Rosita:
The Doctor's companion does what the Doctor says.
The Fourth Doctor's rules
- 001: Do exactly what I say. (TV: The Ribos Operation)

The Seventh Doctor's rules
