Newark Rappare was an antiquarian, card cheat, forger and teacher.
During the late 26th century, he owned an antiques store on Vega Station with Ambrose Forster. After Forster was killed, Fitz Kreiner suggested he should turn legitimate. (PROSE: Demontage)
Rappare became a Professor of Art History and artisan-in-residence at St. Oscar's University. Romolo Nusek had him make a forgery of the Gamaliel Dragon. As insurance, Rappare made a third copy. He was going to meet with Irving Braxiatel, but before he could do so he was murdered. (PROSE: Dragons' Wrath)
