Erik Graul was the industrialist during the First World War and an ally of the Daleks. Graul met a Dalek who informed him his son Heinrich Graul was dead and it offered revenge to find a way to win the war and avenge his son. Unknown to him, the Daleks were the true murderers of Heinrich. He presented a German Proto-Dalek to his guests.
