Anton, Rod and Curly were members of Giles Kent's plot to take down Ramón Salamander. In 2018, they mistook the Second Doctor for Salamander and attacked him in their hovercraft, ignoring Astrid Ferrier's orders to hold their fire. When Astrid helped the Doctor and his companions escape, Anton and Rod took her helicopter and chased them down.
