Nicholas Muss was a servant to Admiral Gaspard de Coligny and a friend of Gaston de Leran. He befriended Steven Taylor when he arrived in Paris in August 1572 and with his help tried to save his master's life. (TV: The Massacre of St Bartholomew's Eve)
