If you go to the Doctor Who archive website and go to episode guide, then you will find that The Christmas Invasion is on the Series 1 episode guide. Which makes it part of Series 1, not Series 2.So I edited it to include Christmas Invasion and the Children in Need Special, however someone changed it back. I will be editing it again and I will add an embedding note saying to discuss it on the talk page before they edit this.

:I don't know what you mean by embedding note -- do you mean something you can only read if you edit the article? I suggest mentioning your justification in the article itself to prevent someone from re-editing. your explanation sounds reason enough for me, though. --Stardizzy2 20:53, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
:actually, on second thought I disagree. the BBC packaged The Christmas Invasion with the Series 2 DVD set. so from that standpoint I think it goes with Series 2. I don't know about the Children In Need thing, know. --Stardizzy2 21:05, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Revision as of 21:05, 25 February 2009

Just a query / question / proposal. According to everything that RTD has written on the subject the new series, staring Christopher Eccleston, then David Tennant, is not Season 28.

While it might follow on from Survival and then the TV Movie it isn't noted down anywhere as being a part of that system.

It is however on the books (at BBC Wales) and where ever else as Series 1 and Series 2 etc.

Renaming

I've been wondering for a bit why this (and the other pages) are called Serier X (Doctor Who)? There aren't any other series' (and even if they were on here they should really have the brackets after the name), so i'm proposing a name and move from Series 1 (Doctor Who) to Series 1. --Tangerineduel 04:47, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

I think the idea is that when and if somebody can be bothered to makes pages for the series of Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, Series 1 will be a disambig page and the other pages will be linked to from it (as well as, possibly, Season 1). ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 08:01, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Ah ok that makes sense (it's always things like that, which I never think of). --Tangerineduel 15:25, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Series Wars

If you go to the Doctor Who archive website and go to episode guide, then you will find that The Christmas Invasion is on the Series 1 episode guide. Which makes it part of Series 1, not Series 2.So I edited it to include Christmas Invasion and the Children in Need Special, however someone changed it back. I will be editing it again and I will add an embedding note saying to discuss it on the talk page before they edit this.
