The Large Chronon Collider was a device created by the Temporal Research Team to locate the Arkheon Threshold during the Second Dalek War. According to the Tenth Doctor, it was a particale accelerator. The Daleks wanted a control element to stabilise it and then it would work properly. Dalek X thought The Doctor's TARDIS could stabilise the Large Chronon Collider. It is unknown what happend to the Large Chronon Collider after Dalek X was defeated. (PROSE: Prisoner of the Daleks)
