The Jabberwock was a monstrous fictional creature from Lewis Carroll's poem "Jabberwocky". The TARDIS, while possessed by the Zagreus entity, created a hologram Jabberwock in the Matrix to defend itself from the Eighth Doctor's mental attacks. The Doctor recognized it from a film he saw, which featured "the Monty Python lot".
