KKBE was the call sign for San Francisco's local terrestrial television channel 7. It operated at least around the turn of the 21st century. The Eighth Doctor observed a weather report on the network and claimed that the news anchors were representative of humanity — "seeing patterns in things that [didn't] exist". (TV: Doctor Who)
Behind the scenes
The call sign is not that of an actual television channel currently in operation in 2011. However, it is the call sign of an FM radio station in Ventura, California.
