Quantum mnemonics, the equivalent of Block Transfer Computations, was the language of the Great Old Ones and represented the physical laws of the pre-universe. Their pure form was a closely guarded secret of the Matrix.

This language could rewrite reality or create and destroy universes, which explained the Gods of Ragnarok's having created and destroyed many universes (PROSE: Divided Loyalties) including the Land of Fiction. This may mean its fictional energy is also formed from quantum mnemonics. (PROSE: Head Games)

The Millennium Codex program was written in this language. (PROSE: Millennial Rites)

Several Cwejen trapped in the 19th century claimed that their plan to summon "Mister Seven" had been made more real when Mycroft Holmes and Bernice Summerfield analysed a series of bizarre crimes revolving around the number seven; Bernice noted that this was consistent with quantum mnemonics.
