Professor Sarah Emmins was the head of a research project on the planet Fraternity. Her husband, Dr Stuart Gorey, was also part of the team.
When a duplicate of team member Ian Bird arrived at the research station, Sarah was willing to believe it didn't know its origins. She was cooperative during the investigation by the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa.
The duplicate took her hostage, but she was rescued by Ian. Her husband was killed by the duplicate, who escaped. (PROSE: The 57th)
