Plant and animal habitats was a game published on The Sarah Jane Adventures website. It was part of the KS2 Bitesize Science project, where children learned math, English and science by playing video games. The game was narrated by Anjli Mohindra. As a reward for finishing the game the children got a comicbook screensaver.

Scenario

Serveral alien lifeforms need the help of the viewer to get back to their home plants. If they stay on Earth for to long they might invade the planet.

The alien lifeforms come from two different planets Raxacoricofallapatorius and Polongus. The viewer has to decide to which planet and area he wants to send the alien lifeforms to, so that each of them survives. He also needs to make sure that the alien lifeforms do not harm each other.

References

The alien life forms and the planets.
  • On Raxacoricofallapatorius there is a vinegar sea, an ice floe, chalky hills and a tall tree forest.
  • On Polongus there is a desert and a slimy bog.
  • The Blathereen live in chalky hills and tall tree forests. They freeze and calcify on ice planets.
  • Baaraddelskelliumfatrexius Beasts can live in tall tree forests and chalky hills. It doesn't survive on ice floe, in a vinegar sea, in the desert or in the bog because there’s no food for it in those habitats.
  • The Poppito tree is a spindly tree with calcium roots. It lives in the tall tree forest and likes chalky soil. Chalky hills are too rocky for it to plant its roots.
  • Travast Polong is slimy and can survive in a bog.
