Tenniel Evans (born 17th May 1926) played Major Daly in Carnival of Monsters.
Outside of Doctor Who, he is probably best known for his sitcom work. This included playing ship's lookout Taffy Goldstein in the long-running BBC radio comedy series The Navy Lark, which also starred Jon Pertwee. When Patrick Troughton died, Evans took over his role in the ITV sitcom The Two of Us.
