Mrs Pittman taught history at Park Vale Comprehensive School. (TV: Eye of the Gorgon) Clyde Langer thought that she looked so old as if she had witnessed most of what she taught. (PROSE: Eye of the Gorgon) Clyde said that he did a school history project on the Battle of Waterloo because Mrs Pittman had not allowed him to do one on Battle of Hoth. (TV: The Last Sontaran)
Mrs Pittman told Luke Smith's and Clyde Langer's class about a Minotaur, Theseus and a labyrinth. This inspired Luke to use sweet wrappers to mark his way, allowing him to retrace his path in the labyrinth under the White Wolf chalk drawing. (AUDIO: The White Wolf)
