Where does this history of the Pandorica come from? It's not shown in the BBCAmerica airing but the U.S. episodes are often heavily edited.
It's confusing to me about the Pandorica because they drew on Amy's fondness of Pandora's Box to create the Pandorica but the way it was discussed by River and The Doctor in Flesh & Bone, it's as if everyone in the universe had heard about it and it was a real thing. So, is it just the "Pandorica" name that is a coincidence? I can see why the Roman soldiers were created from Amy's memories but the Roman army really existed and did visit Britain. But I'm less clear on the connection between Amy's Pandora's Box and the Pandorica.63.143.228.74talk to me 22:22, April 19, 2013 (UTC)

"soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies" "the most feared being in the universe" it has to be the Doctor, who else could fit that description? I believe that somehow, the Doctor will be inside the pandorica.74.100.56.10 02:41, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

After the episode ("The Pandorica Opens")edit source

Normally, a TARDIS dies when its pilot dies. If the Pandorica is a pocket dimension (very small dimension) and the Doctor would be placed inside it, the Doctor would not be present in the same universe as his TARDIS anymore which may be a reason for his TARDIS to think the died, thus dying (by exploding). A TARDIS exploding can cause galaxies to explode if the explosion goes through the time vortex as well. --CGW 18:39, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Looks like you were right, except that it didn't actually contain anything UNTIL the Doctor's enemies put him into it.

/* How does the Sonic Screwdriver open the Pandorica? */edit source

When it's locked by Deadlocks, Time-stops and matterlines? I asked this previously but the page appears to have been wiped before I saw the response.94.1.251.146 18:56, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
