Duncan Lamont played Dan Galloway in the Doctor Who story Death to the Daleks. He also appeared in the pioneering sci-fi BBC TV serial The Quatermass Experiment in 1953, playing the infected astronaut Victor Carroon. He died during filming of the Blake's 7 episode "Hostage"; actor John Abineri (who also appeared in Death to the Daleks) replaced him.
