The First Witch, along with the Second and Third Witches, gave Grendel of Gracht a potion that would have others believe his assertions. He used it in his plan to take the throne from Reynart. He promised the three witches that they would replace the Archimandrite in his courtroom. (PROSE: The Trials of Tara)
