Energy weapons were any device that intended to use directed energy in a destructive manner. Such weapons were also used for combat in the vacuum of space, mounted on space ships, or even planetary bases. While weapons mostly came in the form of handguns or long guns, they also were shaped like a mobile device, such as Missy's device. Such weapons also were made to be disguised as jewelry, or were wearable, being put in a gauntlet or glove, such as Rassilon's gauntlet, or the built in glove weapon in a space suit.
