The Jabberwock was a monstrous fictional creature from Lewis Carroll's poem "Jabberwocky". The TARDIS, while possessed by the Zagreus entity, created a hologram Jabberwock in the Matrix to defend itself from the Eighth Doctor's mental attacks. The Doctor recognised it from a film he saw, which featured "the Monty Python lot". Later, the TARDIS released the Jabberwock in the Death Zone on Gallifrey to destroy Charley, Reverend Matthew Townsend, Lord Tepesh and Walton Winkle. Charley and Townsend managed to subjugate and fly the monster by reciting the original poem. (AUDIO: Zagreus)
