The Gorlon asteroid field was a location in deep space occupied by asteroids. A Starfire cruiser bound for Earth was forced to crash in the Gorlon asteroid field by Stellion Core pirates. The only survivor, a damaged Mark 9 Servitor, was rescued by the Tenth Doctor and taken to the the Doctor's TARDIS after escaping from the pirates. (COMIC: The Vortex Code)
