Clone batches were groups of cloned Sontarans. After being disgraced, Commander Strax served as a nurse to humans to restore the honour of his clone batch. (TV: A Good Man Goes to War)
Behind the scenes
- Strax's clone batch appeared accompanying him in one of two specially recorded fourth wall-breaking scenes shown before The Day of the Doctor in its showings in cinemas, in which he lectured viewers on cinema etiquette.
