Laura Selby came from Birmingham.
She worked at a hospital in Exeter and believed that she would work there until she retired. But sometime between 1953 and 1972 Laura Selby had a strange encounter in Exmoor. After this she lost her memory of the event. She could only recall that she had met three men with dark suits and glasses. Whether the men had assaulted her, threatened her or not she could not recall. Laura Selby also lost her job at the hospital after these events. She believed that the men had destroyed her life.
The Men in Black kept a newspaper article about Laura Selby and this events. (TV: The Vault of Secrets)
