Dylan Summerfield I was one of Marshal Summerfield I's many sons. He was born in 2165.

He lived a bohemian lifestyle and never got married. Because of this, not much of his life details were recorded.

His name reminded Christine Summerfield of Bob Dylan. She liked to think that he "travelled from planet to planet in his magic bus and sang songs about how bad it was that Earth kept getting invaded".

In 2188, one of his "space-hippie girlfriends" gave birth to Candice Summerfield.
