Jeanne was a parfait living in France in 1242. She helped out at the hospital in the Roc of the Cathares.
She was searching for a valuable relic, so she could sell it and use the money to buy her sons out of serfdom. When Girard would not tell her its location, she killed him and tried to make his death look like a suicide. When the Castellan thought Robert was the killer, he told Jeanne he had discovered the murderer's identity. Thinking he had found her out, she killed him too. She was eventually revealed as the killer and arrested. Bernice Summerfield told her that the Cathares would cease to exist soon, as revenge for her having injured Guy de Carnac. (PROSE: Sanctuary)
