Francesca (The Circus of Doom) was the sister of Adam Farrow. She had run away to the circus where the Fourth Doctor met her. She was a bearded tightrope walker and possessed the shoes the Doctor had seen in 1932 Cromer.

Upon command of the Hornets occupying her body, she cast herself off the high wire, and died. After the Doctor's defeat of the Hornets in Blandford, the Doctor found out that the Hornets remained dormant in Francesca's dead body, which was stolen by Adam and Sally. Eventually, her mummified feet and ballet shoes would make their way to the museum in Cromer. (AUDIO: The Circus of Doom)
