Story notes

  • The name Crayola is one, a reference to the colouring pencil company and secondly a reference to the "made up" and somewhat "rediculous" names of villains of the time.
  • The suggested title by Victoria Wood is a reference to the usage of "Doctor Who and..." in the show's early days.
  • Jim Broadbent will play another version of the Doctor, this time an Eleventh Doctor, in The Curse of Fatal Death.
