Lowe was a Year 12 student at Coal Hill School. He sometimes smoked marijuana.

In 2016, he took Miss Quill's physics class together with Charlie and the other Coal Hill defenders.

Once, during a physics class he called the teacher "psycho Miss Quill". Without looking at him she threw a pen cap hitting him square in the middle of the forehead.
