Paul Smith is not a pseudonym. The man's name is literally "Paul Dale Smith". This is no more a pseudonym than "Paul D Smith".

Paul Smith was a pseudonym used by Dale Smith[1] to write Front Line, a short story published as part of Doctor Who Magazine's Brief Encounter feature. It was published in DWM 208 in 1994.
