In 2058, Bowie Base One became the first human colony on Mars. On 1 July, the base was established. It was commanded by Captain Adelaide Brooke and initially seemed to prove that it was possible for humans to live longterm on Earth's neighbour. During this year and much of the next, sustainable human agriculture was practised on Mars, drawing water from a buried glacier. (TV: The Waters of Mars)
The robot K103 was constructed on Earth. (AUDIO: The Relics of Jegg-Sau)
