Giacometti was a sculptor.
The Tenth Doctor thought that sculptures in Zhe Ikiyuyu's garden bore a touch of Giacometti. (COMIC: The Arts in Space)
Behind the scenes
Most probably, this is a reference to Alberto Giacometti. However, he worked very closely and partly in the same manner with his brother, Diego Giacometti. Thus, the Doctor could mean either or both of the brothers.
